Alia Bhatt makes us swoon over her latest look by Manish Malhotra

Alia Bhatt needs no introduction, thanks to her meteoric rise as an actor ever since she debuted with Karan Johar’s college-caper Student of the year (2012) alongside debutants Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra.
She is one of the youngest stars from the current lot of actors but her talent is unmatched which she has proved time and again with brilliant performances in such notable films as Highway (2014), Udta Punjab (2016), and Raazi (2018).
Alia has been slightly underrated when it comes to her fashion choices, which is now changing as one can witness her sporting one amazing designer wear looks after another for her phygital appearances. Manish Malhotra is known for dressing the stars of the tinsel-town and Bhatt is undoubtedly one of his favourites.
The Dear Zindagi (2016) actress recently made headlines when she attended her friend Anushka Ranjan and actor Aditya Seal’s wedding in Mumbai, clad in a Manish Malhotra lehenga set with an innovative blouse we had never seen Alia in before.
But that doesn’t stop there! Here we are, taking you though yet another Manish Malhotra creation worn by the gorgeous actress for the designer’s campaign shoot. The ace designer took to Instagram and posted a picture of Alia swirling in an amazing lehenga with a corset for top.
It’s a beautiful chikankari with sequin fabric, handcrafted by the artisans Shabana Azmi’s NGO, Mijwan welfare society. The lehenga has mixed shades of purple with tones of blue and black here & there. The corset top has champagne gold and purple all over it. The subtle make-up and light smokey eyes bring this no jewellery look to life.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in her home production Sadak 2 (2020) with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. She is currently awaiting the release of RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Darlings. She is also filming for Dharma Productions’ Brahmastra and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
