Cannes 2022 got off to a wonderful start on May 17th. India was selected for the first 'Country of Honour' at the Marche du Cinema. Although actress Deepika Padukone is on jury duty this year, the Indian deputation led by I&B Minister Anurag Thakur includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hina Khan, Helly Shah, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, R Madhavan, and other superstars.
