Meanwhile, Ek Villain Returns will mark Patani and Mohit Suri's second collaborative effort following the release of Malang in 2020. The film is the sequel to the Mohit Suri-directed Ek Villain (2014), which starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Ritiesh Deshmukh. Ek Villain Returns stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in key roles. The film will reportedly have cameos by Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Sanjay Dutt. Ek Villain Returns is slated to release on 29th July, 2022.
