The Indian fashion scenario is pretty volatile yet trend driven. The creators at the top invent the trends and the rest of the guild catches on. That’s how we see some particular styles taking new avatars for many known faces and we get a platter full of style range to choose from.
Talking about creators, Falguni and Shane Peacock are one the India’s most celebrated designer duos with so many creative advancements to their credit and our Bollywood stars are very often seen clad in their creations.
They created a collection named Taj Mahal last year which was inspired by the beauty of Taj and its detailed artistry along with the overall colour theme.
The embroidered details of sequins, beads, crystal and pearls make the pieces handcrafted luxury and it didn’t take long to reach the stars.
First, we saw Janhvi Kapoor in this handcrafted luxury as the cover girl for the Peacock Magazine as the designers launched the collection.
Then Diana Penty featured in her latest release Shiddat in a customised lehenga set by F&SP.
The trend caught the wave as Priyanka Chopra Jonas picked an ethereal piece from the same collection to celebrate her first Diwali at her newly bought residence at Los Angeles in America and showed us that she is still our Desi Girl.
A couple of weeks later Bollywood’s newly crowned Maharani Huma Qureshi wore an intricately embroidered lehenga.
And just yesterday, Tara Sutaria wore the white piece of elegance to a wedding, treating her fans to the view of her charming persona.
All in all, we got a parade of unconventional festive/ occasion wear and we are in love with all the divas but we don’t mind you picking your favourite.
