Bollywood fans could barely contain their excitement Friday night, and for good reason: Tinsel Town's hottest rumoured couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, finally announced their wedding,“Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai,” and released private photos from their dream wedding at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. While the language in their popular movie Shershaah, where their love story blossomed as the pair fell in love, served as inspiration for their photo caption, their wedding attire, which was custom-designed by Manish Malhotra, was motivated by their shared passion for Rome.
For her main wedding day, Kiara looked stunning in a custom ombre lehenga by Manish Malhotra. The ace designer revealed that the lehenga was "inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes" and featured intricate embroidery detailing of the Roman architecture. The delicate rose lehenga had intricate embroidery and was adorned with sequins, crystals, and a matching blouse. It was paired with a sheer dupatta that had a border of floral pink and golden embroidery.
Kiara completed her ensemble with a maang-tikka, a pair of emerald earrings with genuine Swarovski crystals embellished to embrace Manish Malhotra's signature sparkle, a diamond necklace that perfectly complemented her tonal palette and was studded with emeralds, numerous pink and white bangles, pearl kaleere, and lots of pink and white bangles. The superb combination of ultra-fine handcut diamonds and rare Zambian emeralds displayed in the intriguing and exclusive diamond jewellery set was simply stunning.
Kiara enhanced the glam factor with a natural soft-toned makeup look that included pink glossy lip tint, rosy blushed cheeks, mascara-laden eyelahes, nude eyeshadow, and a tiny red bindi to finish her classic Indian bridal look. She pulled back her luscious locks into a dainty low bun decorated with dark pink flowers.
Her husband-to-be Sidharth completed her ensemble by donning a gold embroidered sherwani with zardozi embroidery, which was also created by Manish Malhotra. Sidharth wore a metallic gold sherwani with an exquisite royal lustre, which featured the designer's classic signatures, hints of ivory threadwork, gold zardozi, and badla work, handcrafted with the utmost finesse. He looked dapper in the ideal amalgamation of whimsical and dreamy while exuding old world charm.
His handcrafted Manish Malhotra polki jewellery by Raniwala 1881, which was embellished with incredibly exquisite uncut diamonds for the ideal regal look, completed his ensemble. We can't stop staring at the hottie and the diva as he finished off his outfit with a matching stole and hat.
