Every bride in India wants to slide into a Sabyasachi lehenga on her wedding day. While not everyone can afford his creation for their special day, celebrities have no such issues. In majority of the weddings that took place in Bollywood over the past few years, we saw the bride in a Sabyasachi ensemble and the bride-to-be Alia Bhatt wants the same for her.
According to reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had decided on a date for their wedding in 2019. But the sudden outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic derailed their plans. The latest we hear is that now Bhatt wants some changes in her lehenga that Sabyasachi had designed for her.
A leading entertainment publication reports that Sabyasachi finished the lehenga in 2019. Earlier, the actress wanted a pure traditional lehenga but now she wants something that is ‘traditional and, at the same time, appropriately fashion-forward’. Sabyasachi has started to rework her bridal lehenga.
Rumours are doing the rounds in the tinsel town of Bollywood that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to tie the nuptial knot very soon. An official announcement could be made soon.
