Shibani Dandekar gets her wedding date with Farhan Akhtar inscribed, flaunts her tattoo in a new photo
Farhan and Shibani, who had been dating for a long time, finally tied the knot in an intimate affair earlier this month. At Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's farmhouse in Khandala, the traditional wedding took place on February 19th in the presence of family and friends. On the 21st of February, they officially registered their marriage in court.
Shibani took to Instagram earlier today to share a carousel of pictures of her and husband Farhan Akhtar posing together. But what caught our attention is Shibani's tattoo on her left arm. In one of the images Shibani flaunted her tattoo. XXI.II.XXII, Shibani and Farhan's wedding date, was written in Roman numerals.
In the pictures, Farhan is seen dressed casually in a grey tee, white t-shirt and white trousers whereas Shibani donned a stunning off shoulder shimmery beige gown. Her ensemble was from the shelves of the designer Gavin Miguel. She accessorized her outfit with statement golden hoops from A.S Motiwala jewellery. She opted for a dewy makeup look with foundation, highlighter, filled-in brows and clear lip gloss and her hair was done in a sophisticated updo. Sharing the picture on her Instagram handle, she wrote the caption, "The Akhtars."
Shibani recently made it Instagram official by adding Farhan's surname to her name . Her Instagram handle has been changed to Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar. She also modified her bio, which now reads: ,Producer, Presenter, Actress, Singer, Mrs Akhtar. Last year, as a birthday gift to Farhan, Shibani got his name tattooed on her neck.
Dandekar and Akhtar on the reality show I Can Do That, where he was the host and she was a competitor. It's widely assumed that the two met on the 2015 programme and fell in love. In 2018, the couple made their relationship official on Instagram before making it public at Ranveer and Deepika's wedding.
