Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made a jaw-dropping appearances at the Melt Gala not just that Blake also paid a small tribute to the Statue of Liberty.

The first Monday of May of course calls for the most anticipated event that Met Gala. The celebrities are making sure that they don’t disappoint the viewers who have been waiting for two years. This year’s event is co-chaired by the most beloved couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. They have made their appearances on the staircase and we can’t help but drool over them. Ryan Reynolds looked suave in all black tuxedo and paired it with white shirt.
Blake looks ethereal at the same time royal in her Atelier Versace gown. Following her every year trend Lively matched the color of her gown which was pink and blue-hued with the carpet. Her dual coloured gown opened up to reveal blue fabric. The massive copper bow around her belly that train down the back of her gown is the main highlight of her gown. Blake did surprise us as she walked down the carpet halfway, she removed the ribbon revealing a fresh light blue train.
According to reports, her little stint was tribute to the Statue of Liberty. Her husband Reynolds was cheering his wife as she gradually revealed her new appearance.
Talking of her makeup and hair she opted to leave her tresses open and decorated it with a ornate headpiece. Some antique jewelry, hanging earrings and pink gloves completed her look.
