It is the one those films that every kid from 90’s would feel nostalgic about and they are back with new adventures and storyline. Jumanji still holds an iconic status in the generation who belongs to 90’s, despites released in 1995. It is because of fun frolic performance of the whole cast, especially late Robin Williams and the story which came straight from the children's book by Chris Van Allsburg. But in this sequel, they up the game with new antic and storyline, roping some of the best comedic performers of the time. Sony Pictures will bring Jumanji- Welcome to the Jungle, starring Dwayne Johnson , Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan, in a whimsical adventurous yet hysteric sequel to old Jumanji.
Director Jake Kasdan and story writers Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner gave a new spin to the already iconic storyline, yet they kept some essence of old Jumanji. The story takes all four teenage characters to a mythical world where they now are grown up, packed with few superpowers since now they are game characters and story will be how they survive out of this mystical land. Of course, they didn’t make any effort to overpower the legacy of old Jumanji, but it also makes it more entertaining and hilarious to keep its audience at the edge of the seat!
The Jumanji- Welcome to the Jungle will also feature the cast of Nick Jonas, Bobby Cannavale, Missi Pyle, Rhys Darby, Tim Matheson, Marc Evan Jackson. Indian actor Purab Kohli will also be in this film playing a character named Sanju. And for those fans, who still can’t get over missing Robin Williams, filmmakers said to keep the flashback archive footage from the first film. And to make this magical adventurous more realistic, the film will also be availed in 3D when it will release on 20th Dec, around Christmas time.
