With his first album, Golden, BTS' Jungkook is rewriting the record books. Since its release, the album's first week has been a smashing success, with all 11 tracks dominating the global music charts. Standing Next to You, the lead single from Golden, just debuted at number one on the global YouTube rankings in both the song and music video categories. In terms of sales week, Jungkook's album Golden has officially become the best-selling album by a solo Korean artist in Billboard 200 history. He achieved this after matching the performances of his other bandmates—BTS' V's Layover, Jimin's Face, and Suga's D-Day—as the highest-charting albums by Korean soloists in Billboard 200 history.

Standing Next to You by Golden debuted at number one on YouTube's Top Songs Global Chart on November 12 with 41 million streams. At the same time, it took the lead in the music video category, with around 28 million views (at the time of writing). With this song, Jungkook became the first Korean solo artist to reach #1 on the Top Songs Chart.

Jungkook is known as the Billboard singer, but it appears like he may soon be known as the Spotify singer as well. Standing Next to You, Seven, 3D, Yes or No, Too Much, Please Don't Change, and Hate You are just a few of the tracks from his first album that are now trending on Global Spotify's top 200 list. The album broke the record for the highest launch week for an Asian soloist album on the worldwide Spotify Weekly rankings.
