BTS member V becomes the first Asian to have four Instagram posts that garnered over 17 million likes
BTS members are insanely popular in all nooks and corners of the world. They keep building and breaking records on a regular basis. Ever since the seven members of the Korean boyband debuted on Instagram, they have been consistently shattering records on the photo and video sharing site.
Earlier this week, BTS member V emerged as the first Asian celebrity to have four Instagram posts that have amassed more than 17 million likes. This is an incredible feat that not many celebrities have achieved so far. Here are the most liked Instagram posts of V:
V along with football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and singer-songwriter Billie Eilish are the only celebrities who can boast of having four posts with 17 million likes on Instagram.
What makes this feat even more special is the fact that V and his six bandmates debuted on Instagram only last December, while other celebrities have been present on the platform for several years now.
World Music Awards wrote, “In just one month, BTS’s V joins Billie Eilish, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the only 4 people in the World with at least 4 posts with over 17 MILLION likes on Instagram! ????????????????????❤️.”
All seven BTS members – Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, Suga and RM – joined Instagram individually on December 6, 2021. Their accounts are verified. Before debuting on Instagram, the band would communicate with fans only through Twitter, Weverse and, Vlive.
