Chrissy Teigen & John Legend announce their pregnancy two years after their miscarriage
Following a miscarriage nearly two years prior, Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend are now pregnant again. On Instagram on Wednesday, Teigen shared two images of her growing baby bulge before making the announcement. Giving a glimpse of her pregnant belly, she also showed the mark made by the shots she took to conceive. She also penned a long note for her fans and wrote about her fertility journey, and being too nervous to unveil her pregnancy.
Chrissy wrote, "One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, 'ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!"
Prior to being married in 2013, Chrissy and John Legend first met while working on one of his music videos. Luna, age 6, and Miles, age 2, are their two children. Chrissy shared numerous social media postings after losing her third child with John in October 2020. After she had issues with her pregnancy at 20 weeks, their baby passed away. Chrissy revealed she was having reproductive treatment earlier this year.
