Gigi Hadid is 'proud' to be Khai’s mom
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Gigi Hadid shared many throwback photos of her own mother as well as her daughter Khai’s photo. She took to her Instagram handle and honoured her mother, Yolanda. She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to my mamma! I love you.”
Gigi also mentioned in another story that she is “proud to be hers” as she posted a rare cute pic with Zayn and her daughter looking at some gorgeous tulips in the garden.
During a conversation, Gigi was quoted saying about Khai,“She’s just so smart, and she’s so aware. She watches everything, she’s always learning, she’s always looking. She’s just awesome.” Hadid also told Elle how her talks with fellow mommies have changed, “We only talk about babies and sleeping and what bottles don’t leak. One of them was like, ‘Hey, do you ever want to get dinner without the kids?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, girl. Let’s go.’”
For the unversed, Gigi Hadid parted ways with her long-time boyfriend and Khai’s father Zayn Malik in 2021.
They announced their split via Instagram and decided to co-parent their daughter.
