Ireland Baldwin lately took to Instagram to defend Johnny Depp in the midst of his ongoing defamatory court case in Virginia against ex-wife Amber Heard. Baldwin's post was in response to an audio clip played in court in which Heard revealed striking the Pirates of the Caribbean star, which she had posted on her Instagram.
The model and Alec Baldwin's daughter proceeded to call Amber Heard a "terrible person" while sharing a screenshot of a tweet with a clip of Depp sitting on the booth while having to listen to the audio clip being played. Along with this, Ireland wrote a lengthy letter in support of Depp, as she stated “The thing is, I know women who are exactly like this. They are manipulative and cold and they use their very womanhood to play victim and turn the world against the man because we live in a society where it’s cool to say men are all the worst and blah blah f***ity blah."
She further went on to say that she hopes Johnny gets his defamation “Men can experience abuse too and this absolute disaster of a human being Amber Heard is a terrible person and I hope Johnny gets his reputation and his life back. And I hope he’s in like 5 Pirates movies.”
Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard are currently involved in a defamation suit worth $100 million. After taking the stand last week, Depp discussed several topics, such as his early relationship with Heard and his drug use.
