Jacob Elordi to star as Elvis Presley in Sofia Copolla's upcoming directorial

Australian heartthrob Jacob Elordi will reportedly feature as Elvis Presley in director Sofia Coppola's upcoming biopic film titled Priscilla.
In the film, the 25-year-old Elordi will star opposite Cailee Spaeny. For starters, Priscilla is a cinematic adaptation of Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir Elvis and Me.
Noteworthy, the film comes after the box office success of Baz Luhrmann's Elvis film which starred Austin Butler in the titular role, with Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla. The storyline focused on Tom Hanks as the villainous manager Col. Tom Parker.
Coming to professional front, Elordi recently appeared in Adrian Lyne’s erotic-thriller Deep Water.
He will next feature in Emerald Fennell's upcoming thriller Saltburn and in cinematographer Sean Price Williams' The Sweet East.
