Fast & Furious 10, the tenth entry into the popular film franchise Fast & Furious, has now roped in Jason Momoa to play an important character. The official Twitter account for the franchise shared a tweet with a photo of Jason Momoa in the black suit with a white frame and the hashtag ‘# F10.’ The tweet read, "The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa. #F10".
The Aquaman (2018) star is the newest member of the long-running franchise. Before him, many stars, like Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, John Cena, and Helen Mirren, have appeared in Fast & Furious movies in recent years.
The film stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, and Charlize Theron and is set for release on May 19, 2023. However, Jason’s role is not yet confirmed in the film, but the rumours are that he could play the new villain in the upcoming film.
Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair after directing parts, The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009), and Fast Five (2011). Diesel and Lin are set to serve as executive producers.
After becoming the newest member of Fast & Furious family, Jason is said to bring back the franchise's initial glory which was lost after Fast & Furious 7 (2015).
