On New Year's Day, American actor Jeremy Renner was run over by his own snowplough. The catastrophe happened when he tried to stop his snow-removal tractor from sliding and hitting his grown nephew. Jeremy Renner is ready to give his first interview since his horrific snow plough accident earlier this year, which left him with acute chest trauma and several orthopaedic issues.
The actor will now be seen speaking with Diane Sawyer about the tragedy, his rehabilitation, and his experience since then. Jeremy Renner: The Diane Sawyer Interview - A Story of Terror, Survival, and Triumph will premiere on ABC News in the United States on April 6, just a few days before the premiere of his new Disney+ series Rennervations. A teaser trailer for the interview has been released, which contains audio from Jeremy's 911 call after the accident, in which he moans in pain.

Jeremy Describes
When asked how much of the pain he remembered, Jeremy answered, "All of it," adding that he was awake throughout. The Hawkeye star also stated that he'd do it again. When Sawyer questioned, "Would you do it again?" the 52-year-old actor said, "Yes, I'd do it again. 'Because [the snowplough] was going to come down."
Jeremy Renner recalls thinking about all of his injuries. "How will my body look? "Am I just going to be a spine and a brain, like a science experiment?" The promotional video also included footage of Jeremy's physical treatment, including him moving around on a knee scooter. "I choose to survive," he added in the video. "That's not going to kill me, no way," he stated, adding, "I've lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I've been refuelled and replaced with love and titanium." When asked if he sees a "new face" in the mirror now, Jeremy said, "No, I see a lucky man."

Jeremy's Road To Recovery
For the uninitiated, Jeremy Renner was helping his nephew clear his car from the snow near his home in Lake Tahoe, Reno, Nevada, when the Sno Cat machine rolled and crushed the actor as he attempted to save his nephew. Renner's nephew stated that he saw his uncle's head in a pool of blood and did not believe the Avengers actor was still alive. After the accident, Jeremy has used social media to bring his followers up to date on his recovery and therapy. He recently released a video on Instagram in which he appeared to be walking for the first time with assistance.
