Johnny Depp to never return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise even if he’s offered USD 300 million!
Johnny Depp's fans are highly upset after the news of him not returns as Jack Sparrow broke out. Johnny Depp’s most famous and renowned film franchise, Pirates of The Caribbean will be going ahead without him and Margot Robbie will lead the upcoming film.
The actor had claimed about Amber Heard’s 2018 op-ed on being a domestic abuse survivor that hit his career but later it was revealed by Amber's attorney that it was even before that the actor was being replaced as Jack Sparrow. Surprisingly Jack Sparrow agreed to that and said, “Disney was trying to cut ties to be safe”.
In his Virginia trial Depp was questionned about working with Disney again if it offers a larger than life deal.“The fact is, Mr Depp if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film? Correct?” to which Depp replied, “That is true.”
With this statement one thing is clear that that the chapter of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Jack Sparrow’s role is over for him. Apart from losing the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise Depp has also been discarded from the Fantastic Beasts franchise where he played Gellert Grindelwald. Mads Mikkelsen has been said to replace Depp.
