Justin Bieber found himself in the heart of an internet backlash after posting many Instagram posts expressing his support for Israel during the Palestine-Israel conflict. Many social media users attacked the R&B hitmaker, saying that superstars are out of touch. Despite removing his postings, which featured a snapshot of the carnage in Gaza, the musician experienced backlash.

Aside from Justin, celebrities such as Gal Gadot, Kylie Jenner, and Jamie Lee Curtis shared their comments on social media. They were subjected to the same abuse via the internet. Dwayne Johnson, the actor, reacted to the rising Israel-Hamas crisis.

According to The Daily Mail, Justin Bieber originally published a photo of a combat zone on Instagram with the strong phrase 'Praying For Israel.' Many others pointed out that the image of damage from the conflict zone was really from Gaza. Justin quickly deleted his Instagram story and quickly replaced it with another text without a picture stating 'Praying For Israel' and a grief emoji. Justin had previously published a text message that stated, "Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends." "I'm pretty sure we all recognize evil when we see it."

The Grammy-winning singer added, “To villainise all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I’m not interested in choosing sides, but I am interested in standing with the families, who have been brutally taken from us (sic).”

Social media users reacted quickly to Justin Bieber's recent Instagram stories, with one user saying, "Celebs are so out of touch it's actually embarrassing man." Someone blurted out, "Another example of celebrities knowing absolutely nothing and reposting the first thing they see."

The next one tweeted, “Just embarrassing. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, then don’t talk at all. And didn’t he say just yesterday that he wasn’t going to pick sides, and look what he’s doing now… picking the wrong side while he’s at it too…. Smh.”
