Hulu recently dropped the trailer for season two of ‘The Kardashians’. The trailer packed all the drama in near seconds. Fans catch a glimpse of Kim's preprint for the Met Gala, Khloe talking about life after the public cheating, Kourtney trying on her wedding dress and so much more. One of these moments showed Kim Kardashian reacting to the massive backlash she received for her comment on ‘work’.
Kim Kardashian along with her sisters and mother or shall we say momager Kris Jenner shot for a famous Hollywood magazine. Kim in the trailer says "You saw all of the backlash on the Variety interview?" Following Kim's voice-over, a snippet of Khloe's voice replied, "No one sympathizes with you," while Kim conceded, "I’m mortified, and I do understand why people were upset."
The context of the matter is when Kim went viral when during the shoot she was asked what is her advice to women in business or female bosses, to this she replied “get your f–king ass up and work." She also added that ‘it seems nobody wants to work these days’. Kourtney too faced some heat for supporting her sister. Several celebrities criticised Kim for her ignorant opinion and advice. This led to her clarifying her words.
She explained "Well, that statement that I said was without questions and conversation around it. It became a sound bite, really with no context." She added, "It wasn’t a blanket statement towards women or to feel like I don’t respect the work or think that they don’t work hard." She apologised by saying, "I know that they do. It was taken out of context, but I’m really sorry if it was received that way."
