Serena Williams and Meghan Markle pose as the Duchess houses her as the first guest in her new podcast
Meghan Markle who renounced her royalty along with Prince Harry has now started a new podcast. The audio show will stream on Spotify. Her first guest was an athlete and close friend Serena Williams. The first episode housed conversations on the double standards of society for women pursuing their dreams. Recently Serena shared a picture with the Duchess of Sussex following her podcast appearance.
Serena on her Instagram handle shared a monochrome image of herself with her daughter Olympia and Meghan. She captioned the post, "I loved talking about so many important topics with my dear friend Meghan as her first guest on #archetypes for spotify! It’s out now and worth the listen, especially if you’re ambitious." The Tennis champion and Meghan have been known to share a close bond and Serena was among the few celebrities that were invited to Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding. Several comments flooded in and familiar faces like Paris Hilton and Karlie Kloss were amongst them.
Coming to Meghan’s podcast, she shared her own experience of dealing with negative narratives about her ambition. Saying, "Apparently ambition is a terrible, terrible thing, for a woman that is — according to some. So, since I've felt the negativity behind it, it's really hard to un-feel it. I can't unsee it, either, in the millions of girls and women who make themselves smaller — so much smaller — regularly."
