As Gerard Pique publicly flaunts his romance with Clara Chia Marti, 23, Shakira is letting her music speak for her as she moves on from her ex. Shakira recently released the much-discussed song "BZRP Music Session #53," and today she collaborated with Karol G to release the Spanish song "TQG," which details how she feels better off without Piqué but also how painful it is to see her partner of 11 years, with whom she has two children, flaunt his relationship with Marti.
"You are no longer welcome here," begins the opening sentence of the English translation, "I saw what your girlfriend hurled at me, It doesn't make me furious, I chuckled." Later in the song, Shakira also claims that she developed a "triple M" following the breakup of her romance with Pique. According to the singer, she has become "much hotter, tougher, and much lighter."
Shakira states in TQG that Gerard Pique wants to reunite, but that she would be an "idiot" to do so. As a result of Pique's actions, she feels as though her life has improved even more since their relationship ended. Shakira also claimed that Pique had liked her social media post.
According to reports, Shakira and Gerard Pique's 11-year union came to an end in June 2022. Milan and Sasha are their two children together. Gerard Pique allegedly cheated on Shakira with Clara Chia Marti, according to sources. Shakira had already made fun of Gerard Pique in a song following his reported adultery. In an earlier music video for Te Felicto, Shakira similarly dished up a man's head on a platter in her refrigerator. She also released BZRP Music Session, in which she criticises her new girlfriend and Gerard Pique. Shakira reportedly learned of Pique's alleged adultery when she noticed that someone outside of the household had been consuming their strawberry jam while she was traveling because her husband and children do not like strawberry jam.
