Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn engaged after being together for over 5 years
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s romance has remained mostly hidden from the public eye since they started dating in October 2016. In 2018, the Mary Queen of Scots star told a publication, “I am aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work.”
And now their engagement news comes after it was revealed that Taylor Swift has been spending time with her boyfriend in the days following the success of her recently released album—Red.
A source close to the artist claims that the 32-year-old singer recently took a break to spend time with actor Joe Alwyn at work!
"Taylor visited her boyfriend on the set of his movie,” the source said.
If you did not already know, Joe, a 30-year-old actor, is now filming The Stars at Noon, a film adaptation of Denis Johnson's novel.
