With the release of a new trailer, Taylor Swift announced the arrival of her ‘Eras Tour’ movie, and Swifties are going crazy over it. According to sources cited in a Deadline report, Taylor Swift's concert film ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ presales have already exceeded $10 million (82 crore) in just one day, and the staggering numbers are now being likened to those of a ‘Marvel’ superhero feature.

The presales for the concert movie tickets have reportedly already exceeded a staggering $10 million, according to a report by Deadline. One in charge of distribution stated, "All AMC needs is Taylor Swift posting about the movie on social media to her fans." The much-awaited concert video, which purportedly took place at the Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, is aiming for an October 13 release in AMC cinemas. When asked how these ticket presales relate to something, a different distribution head responded, "Some Marvel movie." In contrast, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ made $20 million on just its first day of advance ticket sales while ‘Eternals' presales totalled $13 million.

Even the horror movie ‘The Exorcist: Believer's’ release date has been shifted up one week to avoid conflicts due to the overwhelming demand; it will now be on October 6. Jason Bloom, the creator of Blumhouse and a producer of the horror sequel, also cheekily tweeted the new release date with the message, "Look what you made me do." The phrase is a direct allusion to a song by Taylor from the Reputation album.

Taylor shared the movie's trailer on Twitter on August 31 and with that, she announced the launch of her film:

Taylor Swift's concert film will still collide with other releases, such as Martin Scorsese's ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and ‘Ordinary Angels’ (both Lionsgate and Apple/Paramount). Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, and Jessie Plemons are the cast members of ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’. The movie, which had its world premiere at Cannes, could win the Oscar.
