The Gray Man is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, with a star-studded cast having joined Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo. In addition to the release date, we now have our first look at the thriller, complete with photos of actors Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Dhanush, and others.
Evans, on the other hand, is seen in the first-look photos with a rifle (and a moustache), while Gosling is seen waiting at a bar in a red suit. Ana de Armas and Rege-Jean Page, who co-star in the initial espionage thriller, appear equally stylish in the stills, with the entire ensemble dressed to the nines. Meanwhile, in the first look image, Tollywood actor Dhanush, who is making his Hollywood debut with the film, strikes a ferocious pose. Along with the first look images, The Russo Brothers also disclosed the release date for their upcoming film.
The film will be released in theatres on July 15, followed by a streaming debut on Netflix on July 22. The Gray Man, based on author Mark Greaney's 2009 novel, is about a lethal rivalry between murderers, as freelance assassin Gentry (Gosling) is pursued around the world by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), Gentry's former CIA colleague.
The Gray Man has already broken streaming records, becoming the most expensive Netflix original film ever made. The film is directed and produced by the Russo Brothers, with Joe Russo writing the original screenplay, which was revised by Avengers scriptwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
