Jackie, despite his successful job, has gone through a difficult period in his personal life. The actor once revealed how he fell victim to all of the terrible influences in his youth and went on to mould himself as an uncultured young man, leading to a very dark period in his life that affected all of his relationships at the time.

Jackie Chan went on to tell a lot about his early days as a young man in his novel ‘Never Grow Up’. The actor claimed that he was solely hunting for alcohol and s*x, which had a significant impact on his life.

According to Canoe, in his memoir, Chan recounted his childhood and claimed that he was a poor, uneducated young guy who simply wanted money, drink, and s*x with prostitutes. He's just spent many years of his life sleeping around with several partners, including one s*x worker he refers to as Number Nine. He remembered wagering his pay checks and even driving dangerously, putting his life in jeopardy.

At the same time, he misbehaved with his first girlfriend, with whom Jackie Chan had a connection prior to his Hollywood stardom. He remembered how he used to drink all day and not give her any attention. Later, he dated Taiwanese actress Teresa Teng, a very sophisticated lady. He admitted to feeling inadequate in her presence and acting clumsy on purpose in posh settings.

The ‘Rush Hour’ actor wrote in his memoir, “I behaved so badly because of my deep insecurities. Ever since I was a little boy I’d been looked down on by rich kids. Any whiff of snobbishness or superiority set me on edge. This attitude reflected by relationship with Teresa. But it wasn’t her fault. She’d done nothing wrong and I’d been horribly unfair to her.”
