Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu calls the festival Ganesh Chaturthi one of the best days of her year; asks fans to pray for her speedy recovery-Exclusive!

Television's popular face, Devoleena Bhattacharjee became a household name after appearing in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 11. She is also known as the favorite television bahu after her role as Gopi Bahu in the daily soap Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. For those who don't know, Bhattacharjee loves singing and is a licensed scuba diver. She also has Bharatnatyam dance training. Apart from all of her talents, Devoleena also loves celebrating festivals and is very devotional. As we celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, the actress also welcomed Bappa at her home. In an exclusive chat with Bollywoodmdb, she spoke about this festival being her favorite and that having Ganesha at her home is one of the best days of her year.

Devoleena decorated the mandap beautifully with yellow and orange flowers and colorful lights. Speaking about the festival, Devo said, “Yes, these are the best days. Since Ganpati Bappa has started coming to our home, it has been one of the best festivals and one of the best days that I have celebrated. And the best part is that it’s my mom’s birthday today, so it’s like a double celebration for us.” When we asked Devo’s mom about how she was feeling, she said, ‘Yes, it’s going great. At first, I was scared and worried about the preparations for Bappa and what to cook and everything but with Bappa’s blessings, everything went well.”

Devo has had health issues with her back and body pain, even during Big Boss she was on medications but still actively participated in the show with the same passion and dedication. We spoke to Devo about how she overcame all of those problems with Bappa’s blessings and comes back strong every time. To this, she responded, “When I need something and it’s in my mind and even if I don’t ask anything from Bappa, he always blesses me with those things. Even if I am dealing with problems or difficulties, Ganesha always takes all my problems away.”

We asked her if she wished for anything special from Bappa this year. “I don’t have anything special to ask for. I am just very grateful that Bappa gives me the opportunity to thank him, worship him, and serve him every year when he comes home. But I just want everyone to pray for me this year so that my leg recovers and whatever little problem is there goes away.
