Exclusive! Vidushi Kaul Talks About Her New Show ‘In Real Love’, Mentions How She Likes To Try Out Different Avenues

Vidushi Kaul is a popular actress who rose to fame after playing a prominent role in one of the top web shows ‘TVF Pitchers’. Apart from this, she has been a part of a travel show titled ‘On My Own In Singapore’. She played a woman who is 29 and travels to Singapore on her alone for her bachelorette party.

Currently, the actress has bagged a new Netflix reality show ‘In Real Love’, She is a part of the show as a contestant which is hosted by none other than Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan. The show is basically a dating reality show but with an online and offline twist. In an exclusive interview with BollywoodMDB, the actress spoke about her new show and she looks forward to foraying into films.

Talking about her new show ‘In Real Love’ and how the concept of the show is different and refreshing and said, “This was like a very uplifting and beautiful experience for me. This is a space that I had never gone into, I have been acting for a while and I have never done reality. Initially, you can be skeptical about doing something like reality, because you have a certain image in mind that reality shows are of this kind but this was a new concept.”

She further added, “This was like a social experiment, is it online dating working out or meeting people organically? They put us into two different situations and see our reactions. It was a beautiful journey, we were locked in a space for forty good days, and being without a phone, every day would come as a surprise.”

Vidushi who has already been a part of an OTT show ‘TVF Pitchers’ spoke about how she is really enjoying the OTT space saying, “I have been a part of travel web show, I am trying out different avenues, I am also trying to see what is working for me and what I enjoy doing. Acting is something very close to me and I absolutely enjoy doing it. Talking about OTT, I think OTT has a lot of scope, I get options and play different characters in a span of time and give it so much energy. I feel it is the future.

When asked whether she would like to try her luck in films, she said, “I am auditioning for films, so it’s just about the right audition coming to you at the right time and clicking. Films are the ultimate goal. To me, it is about playing a good character, something that really gives me a challenging way to portray myself as what I am capable of. So, that’s why films and OTT shows are a very good option.”

Vidushi was asked how she bagged the show ‘TVF Pitchers’, and she revealed saying, “I moved to Mumbai last year and I landed TVF Pitchers right before my birthday so that’s something that just happened as I manifested it. So, I auditioned and in a matter of a week I got the show.”

Vidushi on her future projects, “I am working on a new project, it is a web show I am currently shooting for it. I want to grow only further and further and make the most of it.”
