RUCHI GUJJAR DESCRIBES HER JOURNEY FROM RAJASTHAN TO MUMBAI
In an interview with Bollywoodmdb, Ruchi Gujjar describes her journey from Rajasthan to Mumbai, “From Rajasthan to Mumbai has been difficult for me, since I belong to Gujjar family, there women are not allowed to work as I am working. Also for me it was difficult to change how people think about women working in Bollywood. I want to be an inspiration in our community, who fought against the will of people’s thoughts. And I am the only one from my community who has come so far in the Bollywood industry. And my father has been very supportive.”
RUCHI ON HOW SHE HANDLED HERSELF DURING INITIAL DAYS
“ I belong to an army family, and my father is a member of the force, so he has always taught us how to know about people, from where they belong, and who’s lying or who’s telling the truth. When I went on sets of a movie, they asked me to do some other role of the 2nd lead, initially when I went there they asked me for some other roles. So it wasn’t that easy for me, I never entertained fake producers or fake casting people, I’ve always worked with the actual producers, along with the right people!” When asked about her initial days in Mumbai.
RUCHI SHARED ABOUT HOW HER FAMILY IS PROUD OF HER NOW
Since she’s come a popular actor in Bollywood, we further asked her about how her family feels after seeing her successful in Bollywood, she said, “My mother was very scared when I said I want to go to Mumbai to work in Bollywood, however she’s quite proud of me that I’ve come so far, and my father has always been very supportive since day 1, now my entire family are supporting me. Also I gained more confidence within myself from the day I started working and my 2 songs went very well. I want to work harder and do good projects in future.” She further said, “ I want to work in South movies since audiences love them, and I’d love to work in South movies.”

RUCHI’S MESSAGE TO NEWCOMERS IN INDUSTRY WHO FACE FAILURE AND REJECTION
She advised people who face failure and rejection in the industry, “There are lot of people who fool around and mess with people’s innocence, I just want to tell them to stay strong, shouldn’t take failure seriously that they think of committing suicide. One should be mentally strong so that we don’t go into depression.”
