Tu Zakhm Hai Season 2: EXCLUSIVE!! Donal Bisht REVEALS That She Was Approached For ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ And Opened Up About Co-Star Gashmeer Mahajani

Donal Bisht is an Indian television actress who is known for her roles in various Hindi TV shows. Donal started her career as a model and later entered the entertainment industry. Donal made her acting debut in 2015 with the TV show ‘Twist Wala Love.’ She gained popularity with her role in the TV show ‘Ek Deewaana Tha’ in 2017. Donal has also appeared in other popular TV shows like ‘Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’,and ‘Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein’.

In ‘Tu Zakham Hai’, Donal plays a psychotherapist who holds Viraj (Gashmeer) hostage. She preferred acting the role of a headstrong woman who is acutely aware of her emotions. The actor spoke about her involvement in the web series ‘Tu Zakhm Hai 2’ and her experience working with Gashmeer Mahajani. Donal Bhisht in an interview with BollywoodMDB disclosed her experience and gave some insights on her project which she rejected.

When asked about the reactions she got for the new season, she said, “Season 1 got very good responses and for Season 2 we have received positive responses. The web series revolves around me because I am playing the role of a psychologist who is held hostage. And I am suffering from Stockholm syndrome in the series who falls in love with the captor.”

As Donal’s fans are awaiting her comeback in the telly world, we asked her about the same. Donal replied, “You want to grow in your life. I don’t want to just television, I want to explore more and do more in life. And currently I am in the phase of exploring myself and people are still loving me while I’m doing web series so that feels great to me.”

BollywoodMDB asked Donal about her co-star Gashmeer Mahajani, she replied, “Gashmeer is always very nice. I love how audiences love us as a couple.” She also revealed that she was approached by Yash Patnayak for ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ with Gashmeer. But the actress wanted to do web series and take a break from television.

She also shared what kind of genre she would like to do, she said, “I want to do something similar to the Hollywood series ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ & ‘Game Of Thrones’. Series which go by season will be easier to work on such projects.”

Donal also revealed what kind of character she would want to play in future, “I want to play the action packed roles like Angelina Jolie played in ‘Wanted’, Disney’s film ‘Mulan’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Wonderwoman’ which is girl based stories and the feeling of working for such action movies is great.”

When we asked her whether she will watch Salman Khan’s movie ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, she said, “Obviously he is Salman Bhai, I love him! And whatever interaction I had with him, he is a sweetheart! People have genuine love for him. He is such a genuinely good person and his a vibe. People watch his movie because he is that lovely person.”
