It falls under the genre of political-social drama, but is it worth watching? Read the review below.

Story : The story is of four friends who are young and have formed a rock band. One of the four friends is Rahul (Amit Purohit) who is also known as Mr. Cool. He is adored in his college who goes on winning trophies. But he doesn't know what would he witness in near future in the panic ridden Chhattisgarh where he lives!

Yes. The film's backdrop is Chhattisgarh where Maoist prevails. One day these 4 friends witness that a troop of paramilitary personnel is blasted by Maoist. This incident triggers urge in them to do something against the violence and brutality the Maoist cause.

Now what to do? They do not know. They do not know how to react. Should they take on the Naxlas or remain quiet and do not bother about what had happened? Something happens and finally they decide to pick up their drums and sticks so that they could start to churn out music with an objective to spread the message that peace is the only unifying medium to stop the existing war.

Thus this film shows the journey of a rock band which assures to combat brutality with music... They want to fight back Naxalism with music and they want to set off on the expedition to transform Naxals with the tune of their strings.

Would they get success in changing the cruel hearts and mind of Naxlas with the help of just –Music? This is what the film shows in whole film.

Acting : Some of the actors have done well whereas remaining are just average. Murli Sharma is okay. Raghuveer Yadav is as usual. Vijay Raaz is good. Rituparna Sengupta is up to the mark. Omkar Das Manikpuri is average.

Script : The message of the film is good but it is unconvincing. Dialogues are average and screenplay so and so. This is not a fresh subject and you have watched many such films on political social issues earlier.

Direction : The direction appears amateurish. Manikpuri has tried to present many things which do not convince you. Though the director attempted to make a film on political – social issue, he could not succeed in presenting it in well manner. The intensity is not seen in the film. He has made a film which is ambiguous, confounding and excessively annoying mess and masquerading.

Conclusion : Due to star cast and lack of promotion it would hardly attract any viewers.

Verdict : You can skip it.
