ALWAYS KABHI KABHI is a Hindi feature film which released on 17th June, 2011. This film is made for youngsters and with youngsters in the film. This film falls in the genre of teen films of love and romance.

But does it succeed to allow teens to fall in love with this film. Please read ahead to know more about it.

Story : You can not call it a story; there are just some scenes and events which may occur in a school like St.Marks School. There are students- boys and girls who make friendship; who break friendship; who do no know to be diplomatic like the seniors one. However the story mainly revolves around four students of the school named as Sameer (played Ali Fazal), Nandini (played by Zoa Morani), Tariq Naqvi (played by Satyajeet Dubey), Aishwarya Dhawan (played by Giselle Monteiro). They study in the same school. All the students have different reasons to get diverted from their homes and parents for example Nandini wants attention and love from her parents but her parents are working people who do not get time to give any importance to her.

In fact she feels that she is ignored by her parents, which makes her dad and depressed and she wants to find happiness in something else and wants to be noticed by someone. Aishwarya has different story; her mother wants her to become a model so that she could earn a lot of money as well she could become famous. But Aishwarya is not at all interested in modeling but her mom is forcing her to do so. Similarly Tariq's father is putting pressure on him to join MIT but he is not interested in doing so. Sameer's dad is very strict. Whenever Sameer wants to tell him anything he puts a deaf ear to his complaint or request.

All the four students of St. Marks School want to make their mark in their fields but do not get support from their parents. Eventually they fall in love as usual (teens falling in love in school days). This film shows their love experience and how they deal with their love. What steps a teen can take when he/she falls in love in school days such as bunking the classes, telling lies to the teachers and parents, breaking up, enjoying love life, exchanging gifts etc. Sameer has been portrayed as Romeo of modern age and he uses shortcuts to impress the girls. Aishwarya plays the role of his Juliet in this film. Most students in her school are jealous of her of her fate and beauty.

Plus Point: The looks of Aishwarya are charming and refreshing and you will like her beauty and she has scope to get good roles in coming future. The best friend of Sam is Tariq his aims to focus on his studies rather than playing with Nandini. Nandini is a brat and free of any responsibility and just wants to enjoy her life in her own way. When these students get into their final year they are very excted and enthusiastic. Finally a contest is announced in the form of Shakespeare's play. How they love and what is the fate of their love is the rest of the film.

Performance : The performance of Ali is good and he has tried to remain natural Zoya also has performed well and deserves appreciation as her debut performance. The looks of Giselle are also good and she has also tried to do her part well; though not as good as others. Satyajeet has also played his part in well manner.Above all there are old actors such as Satish Shah and Lilette Dubey who will remind you of all their previous films where they did similar roles and you will not get to see anything new in them.

Script : The script is weak, confused and has many loopholes in it which will hardly impress grown up people as well as youngsters. It is a mixture of many things without giving you satisfaction in even one thing. The writer has attempted to portray the lives of today's generation by showing internet uses but not in an impressive way. The issue would hardly touch you and you would also find the climax childish.

Music : Music of the film is so and so and not what a Shah Rukh Khan's production house could have delivered.

Direction : This is the debut film of Roshan Abbas and he has tried to deal with teen subject in well manner and it appears that this director has potential to direct good films in future. However he fails to impress you to your expectation from Shah Rukh Khan's banner film due to poor and weak script. A good and sensible script is the hero of the film without which no one likes to watch or appreciate the film despite big start casts.

Conclusion : It is good to see that many new faces have got opportunities to act in this film which makes the appearance of the film on screen –fresh! But it does not live up to your expectation. Except some flying skirts and exposure of skin of some teen girls and some beautiful faces nothing else new you get to watch in this film.

Plus Point & Minus Point: When the film is about to end there comes in Shah Rukh Khan in a song but till that time you might have lost your patience and want the film to end soon that's why even Shah Rukh's entry does not inspire you are fill you with enthusiasm. Thus the director has wasted Shah Rukh Khan in this film. The director could have used Shah Rukh in useful ways which could have given benefit to the business of the film. This film could hardly earn revenues or huge profits.

Verdict : If you want to watch fresh faces you can go for it otherwise there is nothing in this film which could give return of your ticket money.
