Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is a film directed by Ashwini Dheer under the banner Wide Frames Films, Warner Bros in which casts are Ajay Devgan, Konkana Sen, Satish Kaushik, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Mishra, Akhilendra Mishra and others.  Its producers are Kumar Mangat  Amita Pathak.

As the title suggests, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge is a comedy film. It is the story of a couple Ajay Devgan & Konkana Sen, who live in Mumbai. But one day one unexpected guest, uncle, (Chacha), arrives at their house, without any intimation. At first the hosts are pleased but the guest (Athithi) becomes a headache for them by extending his stay again and again. It is the pain of the hosts shown in a funny way to create humour and how a guest could be a headache if he does unwanted acts like Paresh Rawal has done in this film.

This film is based on real life happenings, which has been inspired from great writer Sharad Joshi's short stories. Its director Ashwini Dheer is currently doing a comedy show LAPATA GANJ which is being aired on SAB TV from Monday to Thursday. It is a comedy show based on Sharad Joshi's stories. Hence it seems Ashwini Dheer might have come across the story of Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge and would have planned to make a film on this instead of putting it into the serial LAATA GANJ.

Paresh Rawal is excellent as unwanted guest and is the show stealer. Even Satish Kaushik is good. Rest of the casts, have done their jobs as usual.

This is a fun film which contains some light moments. Though it doesn't make you laugh as is expected; however watching it is not wastage of time. You can watch it for light hearted comedy.
