Balidaan Plot
Vijay is a honest and dutiful police officer. He is proud of his job. In private life he is in love with Uma, a beautiful girl. But the path of lovers is not smooth. It is riddled with hurdles of religions, caste and creed. Both manage to overcome the obstacles and are married. In due course they become parents of a lovely girl. It seems that cup of happiness is full and future rosy... But no, The fates have ordained differently. Notorious gangs of murderers, cutthroats and assorted villains have created a panic on the highways. They kidnap their only child. With his customary zeal, Vijay in full cry goes after them and is successful in turning the tables. Now the gang is in panic! To stop Vijay, the villains, stoop low and mean. Still refusing to compromise, Uma is sacrificed (Balidaan) at the alter of duty and honesty. Vijay's world is shattered. Life has no meaning, but for revenge. How he goes after the killers... the assassins of his wife. How the battle is joined and how Vijay achieves his goal, is what 'Balidaan' is about.
