Band Baaja Baaraat Plot

Band Baaja Baarat is the story about two individuals - Shruti and Bittoo the characters of which are enacted by Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh respectively. It is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. It is scheduled to release on the 10th of December 2010.

Shruti is a girl in her twenties who belongs to a middle class family in Delhi. She hates to indulge in any nonsense conversations or circumstances. Her main aim in life is to achieve the well planned ambitions and goals she has set for herself by the time she reaches her final year in college. As such, she is driven by her determination to her ambitions.

While, Bittoo has totally contrasting attributes. He too is a final year student but doesn't have any aims or goals in his life. He believes in living for the moment, enjoying every moment of life along with his friends and as such manages to just scrape through his exams.

As fate or rather destiny would have it they end up meeting each other thereby beginning their most adventurous journey as partners of a wedding planning firm which they relate to as "Wedding planning ka bijness". However their business has just one basic rule – No messing of business with pleasure!

Together Shruti and Bittoo witness a lot of ups and downs in not only their business of organizing these lavish weddings in Delhi but also in their friendship. They begin liking each other in due course of finding themselves and then it strikes them that in all of this they would be breaking their one and only rule!
