Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap Review

BBUDDAH HOGA TERA BAAP is a Hindi feature film which released on 1st July 2011. This film has been produced under the banner of AB Corp and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and the producer of the film is Abhishek Bachchan.

This is one of the most awaited and most attractive films of Amitabh Bachchan ever since he grew old and started doing character roles.

The director of this film is Puri Jagganath who is a great fan of Big B alias Amitabh Bachchan. He assisted Ram Gopal Varma for many years in direction and was desperate to see his favourite super star of Bollywood as an angry man once again for which he worked on the script which would fulfill the requirement which he needed to see Amitabh Bachchan in angry man's role once again. And you can say that Puri succeeded in his effort to his full extent.

Story : Viju (Amitabh Bachchan) is a sharp shooter (hitman) who lives in Paris. After twenty years he returns back to Mumbai on a mission: the mission to protect his son Karan (Played by Sonu Sood) who is an ACP of Mumbai and whose life is in danger due to the mafias. However his son ACP Karan does not know about his antics.

At this age how he deals with the mafia makes the rest of the film.

Performance : Amitabh Bachchan is excellent in his role. He has performed his character in flamboyant style. He has proved once again that no one can match him! He is truly one in billion! The way he does action at this age is unbelievable! Unmatched!!

Sonu Sood too his good in his role and has justified his character.

Hema Malini at this age also looks very beautiful has has justified her role completely. She plays the role of estranged wife of Viju (Amitabh Bachchan).

Ravina Tandon is marvelous in this film. This would be another memorable film of Ravina Tandon after the success of DULHE RAJA. She plays the role of ex-girlfriend of Viju.

Sonal Chauhan is also okay who has played the role of Karan's lover.

Prakash Raj has also done his part well.

Music : Music of the film is given by Vishaal-Shekhar which is average.

Script : Script of the film is tight and gripping. Well written script!

Direction : The direction by Puri Jagganath is excellent! He has done what no one would have expected with Amitabh Bachchan at this age. In fact he has paid a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan and he has made Mr. Bachchan to re-live all the roles of angry young man which he acted in the block buster films of 1970s & 1980s.

Plus Point: It is a clean film for the family and the unique style of Amitabh Bachchan is the plus point of this film which you would surely like.

Conclusion : This film is also a masala film; a commercial film which would attract masses and earn big revenues.

Verdict : A must watch film! A film worth watching!! You will miss something special if you miss this film!!
