Beti No.1 Plot
The story of an autocratic lady who hates girl-children and pines for a grandson while her two sons only have daughters. She is bothered about who will continue the family line. The youngest son's wife is admitted to the hospital for delivery. The lady gets an attack and to keep her in good health, the youngest son's wife who delivers a baby girls exchanges with a friend's baby boy who had delivered in the same hospital. Later when she returns to her normal health, the kids have to be exchanged forms the crux of the story.
