Bin Bulaye Baraati Review

BIN BULAYE BARAATI is a Hindi feature film that released on 17th June, 2011. It has been produced under the banner of Dhanraj Jethani Films Pvt. Ltd.The film falls under the genre of comedy and most of the casts roped for this film are known mostly for their comic roles in their earlier films.

Story : Adi (Aftab Shivdasani) is a thug and so are his friends. He is in love with Shreya (Nisha Kothari now known as Priyanka Kothari). She is the daughter of Pralay Pratap (Om Puri) who is a police inspector by profession. Pralay Pratap does not like Adi and does not give approval to his daughter's love affair with Adi. Eventually he is against their love marriage. Adi and Shreya want to get married to each other because they can not live without each other. But how can they get married when Shreya's father was against their marriage? Ultimately they have only one option left open to get married to each other: to run away from home and get married without the consent of Pralay Pratap.

All his friends like this idea and encourage them to do so. But this was not an easy task because Shreya was not a daughter of any ordinary person but she was the daughter of a police inspector.However, they gather courage and manage to run away from home.But their misfortune starts when they land into a goon's vehicle in order to flee from their area. Gajraj (Mukesh Tiwari) is a local criminal who is moving in his car with diamonds and jewellery which have nearly 50 crores value. Adi, Shreya and their friends get into Gajraj's car without knowing who he was and what he was carrying.

Durjan Singh (Gulshan Grover) is an infamous dacoit who was infamous for his atrocities in the village Madhavgarh and has made a deal with Gajraj regarding those jewellery and diamonds.Adi and his friends along with Shreya reach Madhavgarh in the uniform of police. The villagers, on seeing policemen get pleased and thank God that he had sent someone for their rescue from the claws of Durjan Singh. They welcome them so warmly that their hospitality touches the hearts of the team of Adi. When they hear about the atrocities of Durjan Singh and when the villagers plead them to save them from the claws of the dacoit Durjan Singh.Adi and his team get inspired to do something for the villagers.What they do to get rid of Durjan Singh and what is their fate are some answers which make the rest of the film.

Performances: Aftab Shivdasani is average in this film. In fact his performance is as usual as his earlier films. Nisha Kothari has changed her name as Priyanka Kothari and looks beautiful in this film. Her performance has shown improvement in this film.

Shweta Tiwari is just good in dancing steps. Rajpal Yadav and Shakti are like any of their previous films.

Johny Lever is excellent and along with Rajpal Yadav he presents some comical relief to you. Sanjay Mishra too is very good.

Music : Songs composed by Anand Raj Anand are just above average. Not outstanding!

Script : The story is flat and may not impress you. In fact the story has wasted all the brilliant actors mentioned above. Had the story been better the film would have been excellent. The story is without any logic and has many loopholes in it which may irritate you at many places instead of making you laugh.

Conclusion : This film comprises mostly all the comedians of Hindi film industry hence you can expect a comedy film with almost all masalas of commercial Hindi films such as action, drama, item songs (dances) etc. But due to poor script and poor story the film may not impress you too much. If the story could have been tight and better you could surely enjoy the film due to comedians performing in this film. In fact there is hardly any impressing story so what will just the actors do without a script! Inspired by the success of DABAANG'S Munni Badnaam and Sheela Ki Jawani etc the director has incorporated some item songs of Shweta Tiwari but that may impress you just to little extent.

Verdict : This film is just like BOMBAY TO GOA which had all great comedians but rubbish story which made the film flop. Watch it if you have extra time and money.
