'A lie may take care of the present but it has no future' but it is not true with people who speak lies to Akhada king of Ranakpur - Prithviraj Raghuvanshi (Ajay Devgn) because when a person lies to him, he makes his present as well future worse and ensures that the liar is left with no future ahead.
Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) is a young boy from Delhi, who is going through a lot of financial problems. Eventually to get the problem solved, his fate takes him to his well wisher, Shastri whose house is in Ranakpur. He goes there to have a suitable job and simultaneously he could take care of himself and his sister Sania (Asin). However, by chance Abbas becomes the victim to an indistinct situation. This compels him to speak lie about his name in front of the people of Ranakpur. This unsure event plays a very significant twist in the life of Abbas.
Fate makes him to work as a supervisor under the muscular Akhada king Prithviraj Raghuvanshi who is a complete lie hater. Fate compels Abbas Malik to carry out a series of lies in front of his boss who hated liars to extreme extent!
Thus you watch Abbas, a single man pretending to be two different individuals and the topsy-turvy journey of Abbas makes him speak lie, again and again keep telling lies and keep lying to his boss again and again who hated the liars to the core.
Abbas is always scared of getting caught by his Akhada king lie hater boss which at the end of the day turns Abbas into a complete 'Bol Bachchan'!
