Bumm Bumm Bhole is a children based film inspired by or say remake of some films released earlier in India and abroad which can be stated as Majidi Majidi (Released in 1997), Children of Heaven (Iranian film) or BACHENAYE ASMAAN which were released in 1997. This movie was even nominated in Oscars.

The film Bumm Bumm Bhole has been made by one of the greatest filmmakers Priydarshan. This director is famous for making many hit comedy films such as HERA PHERI, DE DANA DAN, BHAGAM BHAG, BHOOL BHOOLAIYA etc. But though he tried to make a film for children, he failed.

Darsheel Safary has played the lead role in this film which is very impressive but not the overall film. Though this film shows emotional storyline and scenes of a sister and a brother, it has failed to catch the attention of even children. The reason behind it is the insertion of terrorism scenes in the film. The director should have avoided the connection of terrorism in a film of children. Child getting killed in bomb blast in market in any children film is not suitable for children.

This film does not entertain its audiences. Even though it is made for children, children itself do not enjoy the film.

However the sacrifice made by the brother for his sister for her shoes is well presented. The film shows that they are very poor and can't afford even a shoe.

Well! The message of the film is good but not the film. It could have been much better.

All the artists have performed well and technicians have done their job well.

However it is wastage of time and money to take your child to watch this movie in theaters. Better let your child watch any cartoon series like Tom & Jerry which would entertain and make him/her laugh.
