Daayen ya Baayen Plot

The movie is about Ramesh Majila who is a native of a small remote village in the Himalayan region. It is a movie about how he gets to know himself better and live through his foolish behavior. Ramesh shifts into the city to make a living but then realizes that nothing is working for him so he decides to come back to his village stating he misses the life, peace and silence of the village.

He re-enters his village with loads of enthusiasm to do something good and make his life but due to his stupid behavior and his fate to get muddled in disastrous situations he ends up being nothing more than a joke to his all his fellow villagers. Then there are some major twists and turns in his life which makes him the winner of a competition held on TV in which he participates. Within a night he is given the status of a celebrity due to luxury car that he receives as the prize of his win which is later followed by interviews thereby making him a star in a split of a second in his village. 

Ramesh then becomes the centre of attraction for his entire village. The same people who used to joke about him and nurture grudges against him now admire him while the children absolutely adore him. All of this then leads to a series of conflicts between him and some of the villagers. In his effort to match his entire life style with the new car that now is the king of his cowshed, he losses the respect and love of his most ardent fan – His son. Then there is another problem – The car is stolen! Now what will Ramesh do? 

Ramesh then sets out in his journey to not only find his car but to also gain back the dignity and respect he has lost due to all of these circumstances.
