Force is a movie that contains love and romance as well as action in equal quantity. The protagonist of the film is Yashvardhan (played by John Abraham). He is a hard-headed senior officer in narcotics department. He does not play by the book but every time he makes sure that justice should be given to the deserving candidate.
According to him, there is only one method to get rid of crime is to provide the criminals the bullet and not hand cuffs.
In the middle of his mainly treacherous and noteworthy procedure to crack down on the drug cartels of India, he faces encounter with a cruel adversary who would stop at nothing till he would get his revenge for the harm done to his business by the team of narcotics.
Yashwardhan also meets the free-spirited girl whose name is Maya (Genelia D'Souza), and the love of her pushes him to construct an option between the life he by now knows and the life he could have with his lover. The decision of Yashvardhan to let contentment and normalcy into his life alters his life everlastingly.
The director of the motion picture is Nishikant Kamat who says "This is a different offering from me altogether. John is ready to amaze his audience with his eight pack abs. He has been dedicated to the cause and it was a pleasure working with him. The film has got all the right elements to keep the viewers intact i.e. action and romance"
This movie is a remake of the hit 2003 Tamil movie Kaakha Kaakha, which was directed by Gautam Menon.
