The two young sophisticated persons, Vijay (Jimmy Shergill) and Raja (Rajpal Yadav) are in pursuit of a job opportunity. In order to endure at any cost in this world, the bug of thievery enters in their head. Vijay being an ardent devotee of Lord Shree Krishna shivers with the thought of committing robbery. But, he is forced to do it for the sake of his life.
Vijay and Raja selects Pooja's home for theft and they appear as fake CBI officers in front of Pooja. In the meanwhile, Vijay blooms a love interest in Pooja. Vijay does not intend Pooja to know about his reality of being a thief. He begins feeling upset and worried.
Raja comes up with an idea to carry out a big burglary. Vijay and Raja robs a bag, which unfortunately belongs to a dangerous person called as Chawla (Murli Sharma). They find the bag is containing a Lord Krishna statue that costs approximately around twenty to twenty-five crore. Vijay and Raja face a disagreement upon the issue of what to do with this expensive divine statue. Vijay strongly wishes that the statue must be returned to its owner. Following this instinct, both of them return the statue to its owner. However, the statue somehow again reaches to Vijay and Raja.
The engagement takes place between Vijay and Pooja. Vijay sells the statue to Seth Karoimal on the similar day of his engagement. Finally, Pooja comes to know the secret Vijay has kept hidden from her since many days. Pooja becomes too disturbed upon knowing the truth about Vijay that he had deceived her in a bad way.
