Happy Ending Plot
LA based novelist Yudi (Saif Ali Khan) runs away from work and relationship commitments. He lives on the fame of his best-selling book, which he wrote five and a half years back. According to him, life is all about partying and sex. But soon he is struck with misery as his publication house disowns him, replacing a stylish writer Aanchal Reddy (Ileana D'cruz) in his place. She excels in writing romantic novels, but doesn't believe in the depth of love. In short, she holds the same opinion as Yudi about love and relationships.
To earn his living, Yudi is fetched with a scriptwriting job for Bollywood's ageing superstar Armaan (Govinda). As per the requirement, he needs to write a "Kickass Romedy" (Unison of Romantic and Comedy), but sadly he has blunt his writing skills. And there emerges his competitor Aanchal who for a change turns his inspiration. Their growing proximities, makes Yudi change his perspective about love. And there the problem arises as mentioned earlier; she is retarded about love commitments. Therefore, will he ever be able to convince her love of his life or not, forms the further part of the story.
