Housefull Review

In today's world everyone is leading a stressful life. Some are stressful due to family problem; some are in tension due to financial problem; some are in problem due to health problem. Therefore people look for some chance which could make them laugh and stress free for sometime. Comedy films are in great demand due to this.

'Housefull' fulfills this demand. It is a comedy film and unlike many other films, which are comedy just for the namesake, it is full of fun and humor. This film is directed by Sajid Khan who is himself a comedian and had directed 'Hey Baby' sometime back. 'Hey Baby' was a fun film with commercial value. It seems Sajid Khan finds 'H' alphabet lucy for himself; may be this would be the reason why his second film too starts with the alphabet 'H'. Once again Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh are in 'Housefull' who were also in 'Hey Baby'. It seems that Sajid Khan repeats them who are good to him while doing his film.

'Houseful' is a fun film and its story goes like this:

Arush (Akshay Kumar) feels that he is the unluckiest man in the world, especially for himself . Somehow he has got the idea that his jinx would go only if he would find true love for himself. Ritesh Deshmukh is Akshay's friend who helps him to hide his secret.
Thus, in search of true love, he goes on telling lies to others. Eventually his one lie leads to another lie and a chain of lies is formed which creates a lot of confusion and fun. People from different fields get involved in this which arises too much chaos and hilarious comedy. 

The music of the film is good and you can listen to it repeatedly for some days. But one of the songs of 'Lawaaris' APNI TO JAISE TAISE may have to be deleted due to the claim from the original composer-film-maker; however this song is the best and on the top.

After a long time, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, have proved that once again they can give hit music.  They should continue giving such music because lots of good musicians have come in the market. The songs are entertaining.

'Housefull' should do good business also because Sajid Khan tried his best to stop piracy and has used anti-piracy software so that no one could download the film illegally. If anyone will try to do it, their IP address would be traced and the user would be caught and prosecuted.

Other stars in the film are Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor etc. Jacqueline Fernandez has appeared in special role.

Deepika Padukone looks sexy, glamorous as well very beautiful; Lara Dutta looks very sexy and glamorous; Jiah Khan too presented herself in a manner which could make her look hot.

Akshay's role is very exciting and he has done his part very well. He has justified emotional moments as well as comedy part in excellent manner. Ritesh Deshmukh too will entertain you from the beginning till the end of the film with right timing and funny expressions.

Arjun Rampal is too very good in his performance. There is also Chunkey Pandey in the film playing the role of Italian hotelier whose name is Akhiri Pasta and is okay in his role. Randhir Kapoor has played the role of Jiah's father and fits well in his role with good performance as usual. He is seen in films after a long time. Boman Irani is at his best as his earlier films. Boman has also started doing serious roles but he is best in comical roles.

Lara Dutta too has done her part very well. She has played the role of a Gujrati girl named as Hetal Patel. Deepika too is marvelous in her role. Both look good in comical roles. But Jiah Khan has smaller roles than them hence she has got less chance to show her talent but she is okay in her scenes.
The movie was shot in London and Italy for many months and the DOP has done excellent job in exploring the locations of Italy and London.

This film has been by Sajid Nadiadwalas and is presented by Eros International. This film is co-produced by Andrew Heffernan and as stated above, music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The film will make you laugh at many moments hence it is worth watching. But you should not find logic in fun film. Leave aside all your logics and brain at your home and go to watch this film for enjoyment. Remember! Laughter is the best medicine.
