It's a Wonderful After Life Plot

My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Shaun of the Dead get together in this delightful comedy frolic about an Indian Punjabi mother taking her fascination with wedding into terrifyingly hilarious territory.

Mrs Sethi, a widow, can't tolerate the consideration of her single daughter being alone and discontented. Okay, she's a little overweight and dogmatic… but she would make a immense wife for some blessed man, if only she were given an opportunity.

When Mrs Sethi can no longer tolerate the offensiveness of families who reject her daughter, she takes the things into her own control with the only technique she knows... unexpectedly a police search starts for a serial killer who cooks a murderer curry.

Mrs Sethi doesn't sense too responsible as long as the spirits of her sufferers come rear to search her as they are incapable to be reincarnate until their assassin dies. Mrs Sethi has no difficulty murdering herself – she'll get to witness her deceased spouse another time – but how she can leave until her adored daughter is wedded!

The spirits apprehend that serving Mrs Sethi's daughter find an appropriate husband earlier than the police grab her is their single opportunity for a magnificent life after death!

It's a big gory marriage and a humorous banquet which takes the slogan 'I could murder a curry' to frenzied fresh heights.

It's A Wonderful Afterlife is a enthusiastically predictable "killer romantic comedy" from the director Gurinder Chadha who has earlier won the international awards for her films like Bhaji On The Beach, Bend It Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice.
