Jodi Breakers Review

JODI BREAKERS is a Hindi feature film which released on 24th February, 2012. This film has been produced by Prasar Visions Pvt Ltd. It falls under romance/drama genre.

Story : JODI BREAKERS literally means people or a group who break pairs so this title gives you an idea that in this film you are going to watch a group breaking pairs of girlfriends – boyfriends or lovers etc. So this film being a love story also goes against love story because Sid is not in favour of love stories. This is the story of Sid (R Madhavan) and Sonali (Bipasha Basu) who work in the film as Jodi Breakers. There are some incidents in Sid's life which turns him to become Jodi Breaker. But as the story progresses, he comes across Sonali, she too joins him to breaks the pairs; thus their pair comes to be known as JODI BREAKERS.

But while doing so, Sid gets into mess.

What happens to these JODI BREAKERS?

Do they fall in love? What about their JODI? What led Sid to become Jodi Breaker? Such answers are given in the film JODI BREAKERS.

Acting : Day by day, R Madhvan is progressing in his performance. He has good acting skills which can be watched in this film. He gave excellent performance in 3 IDIOTS earlier and now he gives brilliant performance in this film. Bipasa Basu also looks different in this film and justifies her role. Omi Vaidya is good and as funny as ever.

Script : Though the plot is new and fresh, it lacks something. It tries to do well in parts.

Music : Music by Salim and Suleman Merchant is average. However, some songs are catchy.

Direction : Direction by Ashwini Chaudhary is okay. He has tried to good and has succeeded in parts. He has shot on some exciting locations. He has managed to keep the actors look fresh and different from their previous films.

Conclusion : It may do average business due to its content and presentation because it also contains light comedy. Also there is not a single film except AGNEEPATH carried forward in this week which can act as its competitor, hence it is likely to attract audiences.

Verdict : An average film. Not a bad idea to watch it once.
