Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey Plot
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is expected to release on the 3rd of December, 2010. It is basically a period thriller portraying the year 1930 i.e. the British India. It focuses on the undivided province of Bengal which consists of a peaceful and sleepy port by the name of 'Chittagong'.
It is such a quiet and amicable little town where no one would have ever assumed that it would be the place which would give birth to a revolution. Not just any revolution but, a revolution that would wake the whole of Chittagong and also provide an inspiration to the entire nation.
It begins on the night of April the 18th where 5 attacks are simultaneously carried out by a group of 64 of which 56 belong to a band of naïve but brave and fearless youthful boys, 5 revolutionaries who were courageous, 2 young women with strong determination and 'Surjya Sen' who is actually a teacher by profession but the idealistic leader in this group.
It is a chapter which is least known in history that is portrayed by this group of 64. It is a true story which brings back to mind that incident of a series of attacks which were well calculated which harnessed terror on the British Raj. It reminds us of the true heroes of our nation. The narrative provides us with a proper detailing of every stride of this action right from the initial trepidation to the thrill involved in the attack. It takes us through the underground movement, escapes filled with adventure and the dramatic captures not forgetting the emphasis on their legacy which will forever live.
The movie is based on the book written by Manini Chatterjee named 'DO and DIE: The Chittagong Uprising 1930 34'. It is presented by PVR pictures, jointly produced by Sunita A. Gowariker, Ajay Bijli and Sanjeev K. Bijli. It is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker under the banner of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions' Film.
