Kucch Luv Jaisaa Review

Kucch Luv Jaisaa is a Hindi film which released on 27th May 2011 under the banner of Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd

Story : The story of the film revolves around Shefali Shah who is a bored woman. The reason behind her boredom is that she believes that her husband does not pay attention on her. Her mood becomes off when her husband even forgets her birthday which comes once in four years because her birthday is on 29th February.

She has 2 children also but she finds her life bored. To fill her life with thrills and excitement and to want to teach her husband a lesson she gets close to another person Rahul Bose intentionally who is a criminal but she thinks him something else.

What happens further is the rest of the film.

Shefali Shah believes a wanted criminal to be a detective. How can a woman like her believe that? She is not a fool; especially when she leaves her husband due to this reason that he didn't care for her; just because he didn't remember her birthday!

You will have no sympathy with her when she goes with a stranger in a hotel room, believing him to be a detective. Even when she comes to know his real identity she does not take appropriate step and takes stupid step which would annoy you.

Script : Though the story is new it is full of stupidity and flaws. The characters are not portrayed well. They are not defined in well manner. The reasons given behind any act is not justified and you find it nothing more than stupidity. Even some of the dialogues are not suitable.

Instead of the step what Shefali took in this film to make her husband feel her importance, she could have found some other ways to fill her life with thrill and adventure. She could have helped poor or did social work like Mother Teresa but she chose to do something unusual which Indian audience would hardly like.

Performance : Rahul Bose is a good actor but in this film he could not justify his role. He looks dull and emotion less. He is a criminal but you don't get that feeling.

Shefali Shah looks beautiful even at this age but her character in this film is very irritating. You will hardly like her character in this film.

Music : Music of the film is so and so.

Minus Point: Shefali inquires her young daughter whether she had sex or not. This may annoy majority of the audience. A mother can guide her daughter regarding sex by giving sex education in different ways but the way she does in this film is annoying. The chemistry between Rahul Bose and Shefali Shah seems weak.

This is a heroine based film yet you don't understand till the end who the heroine is! Is the lady Shefali - the heroine?

Direction : This is the first film of Barnali Ray Shukla and she has tried to do something different but this film will hardly gain expected result.

Verdict : It is useless to watch this film in theater and waste your high earned money. But there is no problem in watching this film on satellite release.
