LADIES VS RICKY BAHL is a Hindi feature film that released on 9th December, 2011. This film has been produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films and its team is almost the same as BAND BAJAA BAARAT. But does this film entertain you as much as you expect?

Story : Ricky Bahal (Ranveer Singh) is a con man who is very efficient in wooing rich and famous women. He is so expert in doing this that his victims remain ignorant about this for a long time and for the last 15 years he has been doing it successfully. After cunningly taking money from one rich lady he vanishes from her sight forever in hunt of another target.

3 important ladies of this film are Dimple Chadda (Parineeta), Raina Parulakar (Deepanita) and Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma) who used to live at three different places.

However, things take turn when Ricky meets Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma) who is of the same quality.

Drama and comedy are created when two con man try to make fool of the other.

A day comes when the 3 victims of Ricky Bahl meet each other coincidently and take oath to teach him a lesson and snatch their lost money back.

Meanwhile there is a different kind of fight between Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh: the fight to fool each other. So who wins finally? Anushka or Ranveer? Do the three ladies become successful in getting back their money from Ranveer? Such answers are given in the rest of the film.

Performance : Anushka Sharma looks better than her previous films. Her acting skills as well her beauty is enhancing with each and every film. Ranveer is also okay and does well. Parineeti is in the role of one of the victims of Ricky, who is the cousin of Priyanka Chopra. As her debut film, she is okay.

Script : The film has been inspired on or more appropriate to say that it is based on Hollywood film JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE. So the writer has picked most of the things what are in Hollywood film. But the screenplay is sluggish and the quality doesn't match its original film.

Music : Some songs are above average and a few are below average. Overall, music by Salim and Suleman is good.

Direction : Direction by Manish Sharma is good. He is better than his earlier film BAND BAJA AND BARAAT but due to slow screenplay, it becomes slow.

Plus Points : Anushka Sharma's beauty and bubbly nature; some funny scenes.

Minus Points : Slow, predictable, not fresh; loud at many places

Conclusion : since it is based on Hollywood hit film, it has the capacity to earn some revenues due to its comical part. Otherwise there is nothing extraordinary.

Verdict : Not bad. You may watch it once.
